With RAID 10, data is mirrored and stored across an array of multiple disks. This improves availability and reduces the risk of disk failure leading to data loss. And the parallel use of multiple hard disks also significantly improves access times.

When you order a hosting package or a vServer from us, we activate your package as quickly as possible after receiving your payment and checking your data. This can be as soon as a few minutes after placing your order! Your complete satisfaction with our products is our highest priority.

No setup fees for your vServer
Setup of your vServer is included in our offer. There are no extra charges for this service.
- Minimum contract period
Minimum contract period of 12 months
The minimum contract period for a vServer is one year and the contract is automatically extended by one year should no cancellation be submitted within the prescribed notice period.
- Payment interval
Payment interval for vServer packages
Your vServer costs are billed to you annually and emailed to you around 60 days before the end of the contract period. Please keep your contact email address up-to-date!
- Cancellation period
Notice period
In accordance with our general terms and conditions, the notice period for cancelling a vServer package is 30 days before the end of a year’s contractual period.

Do you need more performance from your vServer? You can upgrade to a more powerful package at any time!
We recommend that you upgrade just before the invoice period, as the difference between the smaller and larger packages will be transferred immediately to your order.

Downgrade to a smaller vServer package.
If the scope of your vServer package no longer matches your requirements, you can always switch to a smaller package.
We recommend you downgrade just before the invoice period, as vServer fees already paid for the larger package cannot be reimbursed.

Hoststar’s quality guarantee (SLA) includes all offers and products. This agreement defines the quality standards that Hoststar promises to deliver to you, its customer. These quality standards include items such as network and server availability, connection capacity, customer support, and backup of legal data stored on Hoststar’s infrastructure.
